Margaret Chiu
President

Margaret Chiu earned her Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Accounting in 1971 prior to joining Gammon International. In the late 1980's, Margaret's role with the company has included and still remains to be the supervision of all administrative and financial matters of the company and is actively engaged in the day to day operations of the business.

Justin J. Chiu
Vice President

Justin Chiu obtained his Trading Services License from the Sauder School of Business in 2005 and his Rental Property Management License in 2011. He has furthered his education and training in the Real Estate industry by taking courses in the field of Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining Gammon International, Justin Chiu was working with Macdonald Realty Ltd. as a sales associate along with Platinum Project Marketing as part of the marketing/sales team. In 2011, Justin facilitated and brokered with Stanley Chiu, the acquisition and disposition of a diverse array of investment properties amounting to approximately $30,000,000.00.

Justin Chiu is currently a Vice President of Gammon International.

Stanley E. Chiu
Vice President

Stanley Chiu attended the University of British Columbia earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure Event Sport Management. Thereafter, Stanley obtained his Real Estate Trading Services License from the Sauder School of Business and has furthered his education in the area of Urban Land Economics. Stanley joined Gammon International in 2007 as Managing Associate. Since then, he oversees a multitude of responsibilities focused in the area of strategic partnerships, business development and commercial sales and leasing. In 2011, Stanley facilitated and brokered with Justin Chiu, the acquisition and disposition of a diverse array of investment properties amounting to approximately $30,000,000.00.

Since joining Gammon International, Stanley has been involved with a number of philanthropic endeavors. One of which of these endeavors was previously holding the position of Vice President in the non-profit organization, The Face of Today.

Stanley is currently a Vice President of Gammon International.

Karen Holshoe
Managing Broker and Senior Commercial Property Manager

Karen Holshoe joined Gammon International in 1994 and brought with her many years of experience in Property Management having previously worked for Turner Meakin and General Equities. She obtained the professional designation of Real Property Administrator (RPA) in 1998 from BOMI and, she is a Director of the Commercial Division of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

Karen Holshoe is currently the Managing Broker and Senior Commercial Property Manager for Gammon International specializing in Industrial, Commercial and Retail Properties in various municipalities across the Lower Mainland. Karen is also responsible for overseeing all property managers in Gammon International’s management division.

Denny Lau
Senior Accountant

Denny Lau joined Gammon International in 2010. Denny is a CGA designated accountant and brings with him over 20 years of accounting, management and financial analysis experience. In addition to his CGA designation, Denny holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and the University of Wales in the UK. Previous to joining Gammon International, Denny had worked for Quay Pacific Property Management Ltd. as Senior Accountant as well as Bank of China (Canada) as an Accounting Officer.

Denny is currently the Senior Accountant for Gammon International and is responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle and financial management of Gammon International’s management portfolio in excess of 1,000,000 square feet. Denny is also responsible for overseeing the accounting department in which he is directly managing several junior accountants.

William (Bill) Chiu
Director

Established in 1977, Bill Chiu is the founding Director of Gammon International. His specialization is in Land Development and Investment and has acted as lead developer and general partner in multiple real estate projects in various North American jurisdictions. Since 1984, Bill Chiu has been instrumental in the organization and management of the Real Estate operating arm of Gammon International.

Currently, Bill Chiu is a Director of Gammon International.

Wallace (Wally) Thomsett
Advisor Emeritus

Wally Thomsett has contributed 25 years of management, sales and advisory services to Gammon International. He is a WW2 Veteran having served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Wally Thomsett has over 50 years of experience in the real estate industry including as Owner of Abbot Realty prior to joining Gammon International. His most recent role with Gammon was that of Managing Broker.

Wally Thomsett is currently retired but is serving as a Senior Advisor to Gammon International.

Chuck Lew, Q.C.
General Counsel

Chuck Lew has served as General Counsel to the Gammon Companies since its inception in 1977. He has practiced law for over five decades and was a Director of Gammon International for over 20 years.

Chuck Lew continues to practice law and acts as Counsel for Gammon International.
