As a member of Gammon’s commercial real estate investment team, I am responsible for sourcing and evaluating redevelopment and investment opportunities within Official Community Planned areas of the City of Vancouver for some of our city’s most prominent investors and developers.

I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria.  Prior to Joining Gammon International I held positions in Regulatory Affairs and Marketing at FortisBC Energy Inc.

I have spent 24 years in various senior management roles in property and corporate related accounting and an additional 10 years in raising four children. I value and believe in developing people and building high performance teams. I believe in a fully engaged and empowered staff is the key in delivering excellence to our clients.

My goal and commitment are not only to the company, but also to those individuals I work with. Integrity and accuracy of financial preparation, timely and meaningful information, trust and reliability are all business objectives of mine, to ensure the growth and achievements of the company.

Heidi developed her education in accounting and business administration from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Following her education, she immediately entered her career as an accountant where she has amassed over 19 years of experience in different industries such as manufacturing, retail and wholesale, medical and not-for-profit organizations. Heidi’s experience has allowed her to make significant contributions towards the improvement of operational processes and internal controls. She values relationships and believes it to be the foundation of developing a trustworthy and reliable team.

Building positive relationships, administering preventative maintenance practices and having a sincere passion for what you do is just a fraction of my beliefs in this industry. Above all, integrity and communication are keys to success.

My experience as a property manager extends over 15 years working with some of our city’s most notable and successful investors. I have particularly found success in improving the financial performance of the portfolio’s that I have managed which have been the result of my ability to build long term tenants and plan for capital projects.

I believe that my proficiency, knowledge in the RTA and SPA and my general understanding in property related matters reflects my high-performance levels at Gammon. My previous experience with a multi-national management company has created the stepping stones for me in providing the required services expected of a property manager, in a high demanding and customer driven industry. Prior to my experience in the property management field, I owned and operated a small business management company which has to this day, provided me the necessary tools to manage the affairs of various strata corporations.

Emily spent a significant portion of her professional career working with large institutionally based commercial real estate investment firms. She has amassed years of experience in property management administration, security and operations over a diversified portfolio of retail, office and industrial buildings. In her current role with Gammon, Emily is responsible for some of the company’s biggest clients and high-profile assets ranging from class A office buildings to large retail/office complexes. Beyond her professional career, Emily contributes much of her time sponsoring animals in need of shelter and a home.

June currently holds the position as Property Manager Assistant and provides support in all aspects of property administration and operations for a mixed portfolio of strip malls, office and apartment buildings across the lower mainland. She is responsible for some of Gammons longest standing clients and prides herself in having excellent interpersonal skills when working with commercial and residential tenants, vendors and trades. Prior to Gammon, June held a leadership role for a health and dental insurance company where she oversaw and managed a highly trained group of professionals.

I will be the first one to always greet you at our office and the last one to say goodbye. My role as the company’s receptionist is to ensure each one of our staff members, clients, and trades are all somehow connected.

Our industry requires teamwork in which I find myself to be the central communication system that keeps our people connected.

My property accounting experience brings me back over 16 years having spent time with various large-scale property management companies. My experience and commitment to the industry has provided me the opportunity to oversee some of the highest levels of financial preparation and production in commercial and residential property accounting. I take pride in harnessing my experience and transferring it towards training and instructing junior staff. Hard-work, honesty and loyalty are my beliefs which I practice every day in my personal life and professional career.

Where were you born: Shandong, China

I have been involved in the property management industry for over 10 years as a property accountant.  I have had various roles during this period from being a full cycle property accountant to management where I oversaw a team of accounting professionals. My lengthy experience has allowed me to continue my passion in the real estate industry.

At Gammon International, my portfolio is quite diverse ranging from multi-family apartment buildings to retail and office centres across the Lower Mainland.

Chloe originated from Vietnam where she held various positions in accounting and finance over a 7 year span. She credits her experience from earning diplomas in both computerized accounting and financial management. Chloe manages all property related accounts payable responsibilities at Gammon. Her in-depth understanding of managing and processing invoices makes her an invaluable member of our property accounting division. Beyond her professional career, Chloe is involved with several philanthropic endeavors involving literacy and food for the less fortunate.

Prior to joining Gammon, Sarah developed her experience in project management with a sizable restoration company locally. The demands of mitigating property loss required her to develop a great deal of relationships with industry vendors and trades in order to function in the capacity of her role.  Sarah went to the University of South Carolina where she studied English with a Minor in Philosophy. At Gammon International, Sarah will be leading our tenant services division where she will be the conduit between tenants and our operations team.
